Hi! I’m Christie, a 28-year-old girl originally from Boston who has lived all over the world. I love living abroad and experiencing different places as a local. I have no greater passion than travel, and when I’m not exploring I spend my free time reminiscing on past trips, daydreaming about future travel, and sharing it all here on Girl Sees The World.

It was a wooden structure that was built more than 4,000 years ago around the same time as Stonehenge. The locations of the original wooden posts are now marked by small concrete posts. This was one of the quirkier places I’ve visited in England (and I live in Hackney, so I’ve come across my fair share of quirky spots!) It’s definitely worth swinging by while visiting its more famous neighbour 🇬🇧

We tucked into a Reuben sandwich, beef-style bacon burger, mozzarella sticks, and an incredible chocolate peanut butter milkshake. Such a great meal 🥰

But Covid cases have gone up there, meaning we had to cancel our visit -- one of the many times Covid has proved that you can’t really plan ahead at the moment. Instead, we’ll be heading to Brighton for a couple days next week all being well 🤞🏼🤞🏼 (photo is from our Christmas visit to Yorkshire)
